Conversation first. Confidence follows.

I’m Sonny — a native English speaker from the United States, now based in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Before teaching English, I spent 35 years in hospitality and nightlife in New York City, Dallas, and New Orleans.

That means I’ve spent a lifetime listening, explaining, reading people, handling unexpected situations, and keeping conversations going. Those are exactly the skills I bring into my lessons.

What do you want to talk about?

01

Conversation & Confidence

For anyone who knows some English but wants to feel more comfortable actually speaking it. We’ll talk, build vocabulary, work on pronunciation when needed, and learn from the mistakes that come up naturally.

02

English for Everyday Life

Practical English for travel, meeting people, shopping, restaurants, appointments, social situations, and the conversations that happen in everyday life.

03

English for Work & Hospitality

Practical English for people who work with people — especially in bars, restaurants, cafés, hotels, nightlife, tourism, and other service industries.

You don’t need perfect English. You need English you can actually use.
